This is a fantastic opportunity to work at a small international charity, which connects young girls with amazing women role models. Founded by Miriam González Durántez in 2016, the charity now operates in over 27 countries. The charity has grown significantly in both size and profile over recent years, with increasing numbers of operating countries, a major new video project and a number of global corporate partners. We are now looking for a motivated member of the team to join our small friendly HQ for a one year maternity cover. The main elements of the Project & Communications Manager role are as follows:Project managementEnsure the Inspiring Girls International campaign plan is delivered effectively and efficientlyManage the Inspiring Girls Video Hub project - including the video editing process, management of freelancers, liaison with partner organisations, and the generation of new content.Assist with virtual and in-person events management for global Inspiring Girls events such as Summits and global partnerships initiativesOversee ongoing liaison and support for IG country teams, including trouble-shooting and project support where necessary.Assist with the management of the Inspiring Girls volunteer database for IG country teamsLiaise with relevant members of the IG HQ team and global partners to maintain and develop joint projects and activitiesCommunicationsMaintain and develop high quality online communications for the global organisation, including updating the website and other communication channels and materialsEnsuring regular social media presence is maintained, including the promotion of activities and events run by Inspiring Girls HQ and Global teams.Assist with drafting key publications and documents as necessary, such as the annual review, presentations, reports to funders and ad hoc briefing documentsLiaise with global partner organisations to ensure that all joint communications are done in a timely and consistent wayProactively explore opportunities and ideas to communicate and promote the work of Inspiring GirlsResearch and supportMonitor new research and reports relevant to the work of Inspiring Girls and promote accordingly.Provide research support to the CEO and Chair as appropriate.If you like the sound of this role, and you have the following qualities, experience and/or skills, we'd love to hear from you!At least two years experience of managing projects in a not-for-profit environment with limited resourcesExperience of managing external communications, including social media and web presence.Comfortable working independently within a small teamExcellent written and verbal communication skillsWorking knowledge of Squarespace and Canva A positive attitude, and proactive approach towards challenges and problem solvingExperience of working effectively with volunteersPassionate about the aims and values of Inspiring Girls InternationalDesirable (but not essential!):Working knowledge of basic video editing, and/or design packages such as Adobe Suite or Final Cut ProCompetent in spoken and written Spanish, French and/or other languages.Experience working with freelancers
