We are working with a market-leading care provider; providing innovative support across the UK and helping enable people with a learning disability to live a full and active life.
They are looking for a male Team Leader to help lead the supported living team in delivering high-quality, individual support in the Littleport & Ely area of Cambridgeshire, supporting a number of people receiving 24/7 support and leading very busy lives.
Applicants must be prepared to work flexibly across a variety of shift patterns, including earlies, late's and sleep-ins.
A typical day might see you supporting people going shopping, travelling on public transport, community-based activities (pub, cinema, eating out, swimming), going on holiday and generally being a positive role model.
You will be responsible for line-management of the support staff, which will include maintaining rotas and leading / promoting high-quality outcome-focused support.
Applicants should have experience of working with adults with learning disabilities, rota management experience and a full UK driving licence. Confidence, a can-do attitude and a sense of humour would be a great benefit.
An NVQ (or equivalent) Level 2 is desirable but not essential. Induction and ongoing training is provided for all staff.
In accordance with the latest guidelines, all applicants should be fully vaccinated and be able to evidence this.
In return there is an excellent package on offer, including competitive salary, excellent benefits and a bonus scheme (aswell as enormous scope for career development through training and support).
