Seneca Bridge are currently recruiting for an experienced Insurance Account Manager, who is looking for greater responsibility around broking and placement - you'll be knowledgeable and motivated by the opportunity to support and advise a growing team.

This Insurance Account Manager role will see you working on all elements of running the account and given the start-up nature of the business we anticipate considerable future opportunities for the successful candidate aligned to the expected growth of the company.

Responsibilities of a Insurance Account Manager;
  • Own interaction with prospects and clients to collect and collate information in respect of new business enquiries, renewals, and mid-term adjustments
  • Administer client's requirements, including mid-term adjustments, renewals, obtaining quotations, cross-sales, and invoicing of premiums
  • Build and maintain relationships with clients by adopting a proactive approach to customer service.
  • Negotiate policy terms, conditions, premium and income and arrange cover to comply with the client instructions
  • Review market results, analyse information gathered and undertake sufficient research, to deliver the best product for the client/customer
  • Provide advice to clients and prospects on an ongoing basis in respect of current insurance policies and additional insurance products for consideration
  • Check all documentation for complete accuracy before issuing to clients or appropriate parties
  • Ensure premiums and fees are collected and allocated appropriately keeping management informed of any potential or perceived problems with bad debts

As a Insurance Account Manager, you will have the following experience;
  • Minimum 5 years of Commercial Insurance Account Manager or broking experience
  • CERT qualified or CII qualified or progressing towards
  • Demonstrable commitment to a previous employer
  • Computer literate with a working knowledge of standard Office software
  • Strong IT /CRM system skills with working knowledge of the Acturis& IPRISM broker systems being an advantage
  • Understanding of FCA compliance procedures and Due Diligence
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • An eye for detail and a high level of accuracy within both written and verbal communication
  • Having the ability to demonstrate a sound knowledge of insurance policy construction.
  • An understanding of underwriting criteria
  • Full & clean driving license holder

In return for you hard work and dedication, a Insurance Account Manager will receive a salary of between £26,000 & £28,000 per annum. We are actively recruiting for this role, so please Apply today.
