As part of our growth, we are excited to open an Outlet Store in Ashford, McArthur Glen Designer Village and look to recruit an enthusiastic, reliable Store Manager to lead a team and effectively manage all business KPls maximising store sales and profitability.

Responsibilities:

  • Building a strong, cohesive and effective management team
  • Controlling trade expenses
  • Maintaining Store administration, stock security and Cash Desk.
  • Leading by example, you will maintain a high standard of staff morale, appearance, timekeeping and role model behaviour.
  • Managing staff issues sensitively and effectively and in a professional manner
  • Ensuring that the highest standard of professional service is maintained at all times.
  • Planning and evaluating both Window and Interior displays based on the Display Guide
  • Interviewing and recruiting the best people available for all vacancies, and training and developing all levels of staff to their maximum potential.
  • Role modelling exceptional customer service standards and behaviours.
  • Planning and co-ordinating in-store promotional events
  • Monitoring sales patterns, best sellers, sales by employee and propose actions, based on business trends, to enhance performance
  • Achieving store sales targets and setting individual team targets
  • Motivating all Team Members to achieve personal and store KPI's
  • Developing all Team Members by delivering training and coaching


Skills and experience


  • An enthusiastic person who is comfortable with responsibility.
  • A person with excellent communication skills.
  • Someone who is resilient, approachable and personable.
  • An entrepreneurial, self-starter who is calm under pressure, organised and determined to succeed.
  • You must have demonstrable relevant experience at this level (Outlet experience preferred)
  • Someone who has the ability to motivate and inspire a team to deliver consistency in exceptional service whilst driving all store KPls.
  • Comfortable with using a range of management processes in order to achieve results, including coaching and feedback
  • Knowledgeable and passionate about developing people and processes and is confident training at all levels
