The role of the strategic account manager is to manage a portfolio of strategic accounts, ensuring that business is retained and developed to maximise revenue opportunities. The portfolio will be mixed including large employer accounts as well as intermediated accounts. Most of the account management service is expected to be delivered face to face or via online meetings.
This is a fixed term one-year contract which is a home-based, full-time position. The role is with a salary of up to £55,000 per year plus benefits. This role is open to- Part time, Job shares & compressed hours also.
This role will require travel to review clients which are mainly based in the Midlands, London and South West of the UK. The role includes working from home, travel to see clients and monthly visits to the office in London. Travel is expensed through the Nest travel policy.Your new team
The Employer and Intermediary Experience team (ERIX) has 18 team members and five are dedicated to working with our managed employers and intermediaries.
We're responsible for:
- Understanding our employers and intermediaries to enable us to develop the Nest product and services based on their requirements
- Retaining those profitable employers and intermediaries who use the Nest scheme
- Developing business from existing, managed employers and intermediaries who use the Nest scheme
- Acquiring new profitable employers to use the Nest scheme.
- Negotiating and securing intermediaries, accountants, payroll bureaux, advisers and employee benefits consultants for panel status positions and trading
The team have a responsibility to be a primary link ("the ears and eyes") of the external pensions market, for NestWhat you'll need to succeed
You will be managing a portfolio of strategic accounts ensuring that business is retained and developed to maximise revenue opportunities
Ideally you will have in-depth knowledge of Workplace Pensions and the market as well as working closely with managed accounts, creating effective communication channels with key customer stakeholders and taking responsibility for leading on the resolution of all customer issues, including provision of technical support in how to use Nest systems.What you'll get in return
