My client is looking for a hands on Purchase Ledger Controller to work as part of a growing AP function. This role will play a key part in the Finance function, reporting into the Management Accountant providing end to end support and acting as the Senior member of the team.

Client Details

My client is a growing Manufacturing firm who operate across the UK and currently growing.

  • Manage and develop a team of ledger clerks
  • Lead processing of purchase invoices
  • Ensure purchase invoices are coded correctly to the nominal ledger
  • Perform month end reporting and purchase ledger close off
  • Lead year end audit from an accounts payable perspective
  • Lead and manage monthly supplier statement reconciliations
  • Maintain the integrity of the purchase ledger
  • Work closely and effectively with finance leadership team and key business stakeholders
  • Develop purchase ledger KPI metrics including ledger aging, unallocated cash and creditor stretch.


- Proficient on Excel, PowerPoint and Word - Ability to analyse large amounts of data using Excel formulas and pivot tables.

- Worked in a similar role previously - ideally Manufacturing

Job Offer

The successful candidate will receive a salary up to £25,000 DOE with excellent company benefits and progression opportunities.
