Lancashire County Council have a successful ongoing partnership with Reed Education to provide Teaching Assistants to Secondary Schools across Lancashire and Cumbria. As a result, Reed Education are seeking a Full Time Teaching Assistant Level 3. The role would be 5 days per week, Monday-Friday Term Time Only commencing after October Half Term. The role has been confirmed to early December, but it is extremely likely to continue long-term, pending funding. This role is ideal for Level 3 Teaching Assistants who are looking for continuity over the coming year, whilst supporting a well-established Learning Support Department in an Ofsted rated 'OUTSTANDING' school.

The role would be supporting pupils one to one and in small groups. You would be working alongside a strong team of Teaching Assistants.

The successful applicant must:

• Be an excellent communicator and have a nurturing approach to students

• Be reliable, committed and interested in working with students and demonstrate the qualities of a good role model (qualities of compassion, trustworthiness, politeness and good listening skills)

• Have good interpersonal skills; be trustworthy, punctual as well as being patient and confident when working with children.
