Your New School

You will be working in one of our long-lasting partnered schools. This school has been assessed to be 'Outstanding' by Ofsted as they provide extensive quality education for all their pupils. SEN students attend this school, and they cater support where necessary for each child. This is a Local Authority School which supports the ages 3 - 11, is approximately 7 miles from the city centre of Wolverhampton (25-minute drive) and is located in the Dudley area.

Your new role

The Nursery Teacher role at this school requires versatility and flexibility. You will be working as a Nursery Teacher and will be responsible of 15 children in the morning and 11 in the afternoon. Day to day duties in this role involve the planning of sessions for the children, delivering the sessions effectively and assessing the children's progress against their age-related expectations. You will also be required to produce learning material for the children and organise the learning environment efficiently.

We supply the school with day-to-day, short term and long-term staff. To start with, this role will be until the end of the academic year with the possibility of it being extended. This will be a full-time role, working hours being 8:30am - 3:30pm. However, training sessions (which you may be invited to) may go on up until 4:30pm once every half term.

What you'll need to succeed

You should have recent experience of teaching Early Years and (be able to provide references). A Qualified Teacher Status or be a Newly Qualified Teacher / Early Career Teacher. You will need to be confident and engaging whilst demonstrating a professional manner and have strong communication skills, especially when working with groups of children. You must be able to challenge and encourage the pupils to achieve their best and be a caring individual who is prepared to go the extra mile.
