Platts Heath Primary School

We are looking for a talented key stage two teacher to join our small team at Platts Heath. The class is a small mixed age class of year 4/5/6 pupils in our village school of 50 pupils. Platts Heath is part of the Aspire Federation which is made up of four small rural schools so there are opporunities to work with colleagues who teach the same year groups. The Aspire curriculum is designed to support mixed age teaching, as we have subject leaders who work across the federation to provide support. Although mixed age teaching does come with some challenges the rewards of working in a small school are untold ! We are looking for a teacher will some teaching experience in Key stage 2. An specialism in art, design technology or music would be an advantage as our current teacher is the federation subject leader. There is a TLR available if you have the skills to be able to lead these subjects.
