About the Part Time 1:1 Tutor position:

Prospero Teaching are looking for 1:1 tutors to support children in care, children with special educational needs and excluded pupils in Cambridge and the surrounding areas.

Lessons will usually take place in the student's home or a care setting, alternatively a library will be used.
Main focus will be on numeracy and literacy.
Flexible hours to suit you- Monday-Friday.
Focusing on helping students get back into a school environment.

Contract Details for Part Time 1:1 Tutor position:

Location: Cambridge
Position: 1:1 tutor

Duration/likely duration: Ongoing
Full time/part time: Part time Monday-Friday 3 hours per day, 15 hours per week
Minimum rate of pay: £20.83 per hour

Experience, Training and Qualifications required for the Part Time 1:1 Tutor position:

Experience working with SEN/challenging behaviours would be an advantage.
A can do it attitude.
Making learning fun for students.
Minimum degree level in subject.
QTS or QTLS is preferred.

To be eligible for the Part Time 1:1 Tutor position through Prospero Teaching you must:

Provide a right to work in the UK document.
Provide 2 professional references from previous employment.
Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate or a registered DBS on the update server, or willing to process for a new application.
