Senior Bookkeeper Temporary Contract North West London
A position is available for a temporary Bookkeeper to join a property investment group based in North West London. This is a 3-month temporary contract which will be office based. Duties to include:
* Responsible for all aspects of bookkeeping and accounts * Checking the bank account daily for incoming and outgoing payments * Dealing with the purchase ledger, sales ledger and bank reconciliations * Preparation of quarterly VAT Returns * Raising rental invoices using Sage Line 50 * Sending out service charge statements * Generating Landlord Reconciliation Statements * Updating the cashbook and cash flow spreadsheets on a daily basis * Processing weekly payment run (cheques and BACS); sending invoices for authorisation * Ensuring invoices match the value of any purchase orders
Skills and Attributes: * Previous accounts experience within the Property sector essential * AAT/ACCA part qualified (minimum requirement) * Excellent IT skills, SAGE /Excel essential
This position would suit an experienced Bookkeeper with previous experience in the property sector seeking a short-term contract role. A good working knowledge of Sage is essential for this position.
