You will be working for a local construction business who have a local presence within North Wales, working privately and for the local authority.

Main Duties

Reporting to the Owner of the Business the Finance and Office Manager will ensure financial health of the business and will be responsible for the smooth running of the office.
  • Book-keeping, Purchase and Sales ledger, Credit control,
  • Bank reconciliation.
  • Cash-flow forecasting
  • Payroll using Pegasus CIS & Opera. (Monthly).
  • HMRC PAYE submissions, inclusive of sub-contractors tax payable & main contractors labour tax claim refunds.
  • Pension export from Pegasus Opera 3 monthly payroll.
  • Employee expenses.
  • Stock checks and adjustments.
  • Monthly accounts & end of month journals.
  • End of year accounts (as at 30.9.21) for submission to Accountant for checking.
  • Negotiation of contracts for Insurance / Phones / Vehicles / Utilities. VAT calculations using on-line HMRC submissions, Completion of ad-hoc administration duties.
  • Supervision of a part-time admin/accounts assistant.
  • Main contact with IT support company.

  • Pegasus: CIS & Opera 3 experience would be an advantage.
  • Knowledge of reverse vat & labour CIS tax deductions beneficial.
  • Qualified to AAT Level 4 or similar. QBE will be considered.
  • Experience of working in a similar role is essential.
  • Strong written and oral communication skill

  • Monday - Friday / 8.30am - 5pm
  • £28k - £30k per annum dependant on experience
