School Administration Assistant Needed - Crewe - November 2021 - Long Term Contract

** Academics is a Teacher Supply / Teacher Recruitment Agency based in Stoke-on-Trent**

Primary school - November start (Or earlier for the right candidate)
Long term role - Booked until Xmas initially
The role is Monday to Friday 8am to 4pmAcademics have been asked to support a thriving and diverse primary school in appointing a talented administrator to support the school office in their general day to day duties

Duties Include:

Provide general clerical support
IT based tasks requiring knowledge of various ICT packages eg SIMS, Arbor, Microsoft Office
Maintain manual and computerised records and management information systems using inhouse schools systems SIMs
Deal with enquiries either by telephone or face-to-face
Liaise with parents / carers/staff
Maintain stocks and supplies
Processing orders, collecting monies and undertake basic reconciliation, such as for petty cash.You will hold the following skills:

Strong IT skills with knowledge of various packages
Previous experience of working with school based systems such as SIMs is advantageous
A team player who can work on own initiative and meet deadlines
Organised and efficient working to high standards
Excellent communication skills
