Delighted to be retained by a GP Alliance in West Yorkshire to recruit a Director of Strategy & Performance.

Following the exponential demand for their members services, the Alliance is seeking to appoint a Director of Strategy & Performance to support their PCNs to continue to build on existing primary care services and enable greater provision of proactive, personalised, coordinated and more integrated health and social care for people close to home. The Director of Strategy & Performance supports the Board to create the right environment for their members to flourish so they can continually improve the services provided.

The Alliance enables the voice of our members to be heard in strategic meetings ensuring that the needs of primary care are considered in all decisions. In this way, practices who are members of the Alliance are placed in a stronger commercial position to continue the delivery of sustainable high-quality services for patients. This is reinforced through the central role taken by the Alliance to achieve sustainable and efficient service delivery, aligned to the localities wider transformation programmes.

The main focus of the role is to develop and maintain an open, supportive and effective organisation where Primary Care Networks and their constituent practices are able to flourish under the Network Directed Enhanced Service and associated contracts.

You will be the first point of contact in the executive team for Board and Clinical Director (CD) instruction, working closely with the 5 PCNs, via their CDs, for collaborative work across the locality

You will be commercially astute and a strong leader with a proven track record of success in politically sensitive and complex environments. Demonstrating resilience in the face of challenge; you will provide a clear vision to drive change in a constantly evolving health care system, harnessing the ideas and talents of our committed staff and members to support and develop both the future strategy and organisational culture to be fit for the future. Quickly building credibility with a range of stakeholders, you will demonstrate a commitment to our members and staff and a passion for improving the lives of the patients we serve.
