A new role is available for a Commercial/Fleet Insurance Technician, working for a successful fast growing company. This is a permanent role based in North Tyneside. Working hours Monday to Friday 9am-5pm. Salary £19000 per annum plus excellent company benefits.

The Role:

To assist in the general administration of the policies of all fleet and other commercial clients including:

Managing inbound calls and emails from brokers and clients.

Provide an outstanding level of customer service in line with regulatory requirements and adhering to the service level agreement of 24 hour turnaround for brokers.

Offering appropriate quotations both renewal/new business. Relaying this information in a durable and understandable medium.

Process quarterly and annual taxis renewals.

Handle the broking files as and when required, ensuring documentation is provided in a timely manner and that files are complete, accurate and up to date.

The Person:

Previous work experience in Insurance or a regulated business essential.

Good communication skills both written and oral.

Ability to take ownership of possible problem issues before they escalate.

Ability to work well under pressure

Ability to work with minimum supervision

Good knowledge of motor insurance in particular the public, private hire market and commercial insurance highly desirable

Conversant with the RTA desirable

Ability to identify and refer potential fraud as per the money laundering rules highly desirable

IT literate, able to use all MS Office packages including Excel.
