Radar Resource and Capability Co-Ordinator
We have an exciting new contract opportunity based in Great Baddow as a Radar Resource and Capability Co-Ordinator.
The role will be an initial 6 month contract and will provide you with the opportunity to manage the co-ordination of the assessment, quantification and resolution of the engineering and project management resource capability, demand and capacity of Radar.
Consolidated data that informs the immediate and longer term resource demand and allocation in accordance with project and discretionary spend [e.g. Private Venture (PV), Proposals and Tenders (P&T)] requirements.
Accurate forecasts of workload demand and supply within business tools, reported on a regular basis to stakeholders.
Collective working with other P&TS Resource and Capability Leads to help achieve utilisation targets within engineering.
Data analysis and escalation of issues as required.
Support to the development of training, succession planning and career development plans.
Support the understanding, implementation and communication of Radar capability requirements (people, tools, processes, facilities and infrastructure) to address immediate and longer term gaps, growth and improvement initiatives.
In conjunction with other engineering resource leads and people services, develop methods of resource process tailoring that optimize performance.
Working with the other Resource and Capability Leads and Functional Managers to maintain competence/qualifications/skills register for the engineers.
Support the delivery of capability development programmes within Radar.
Key skills & qualifications
Degree or equivalent experience in a business environment
Familiarity with supply & demand planning in a project-based organization
Numerate, with good understanding of MS Excel and business tools
Ideally, an understanding of SAP suite of business tools
The role is required to interface at all levels within the P&TS organization and provide advice and guidance to the development and maintenance of Capability and Learning & Development activities within both Radar and the wider P&TS.
The role requires a tenacious approach to the maintenance of a single point of truth through pragmatic liaison with Project Engineering Managers and Project Managers.
Logical, rationale and able to identify issues and solutions when given a set of disparate and potentially conflicting data.
Understands how their personal contribution relates to the larger solution.
Providing accurate data and analysis to enable accurate resourcing and future capability decisions to be made.

Rate: £27.41 per hour (INSIDE IR35)
