Position: Credit Control Administrator
Working hours: Part time, 2.5 days a week (flexible)
We have an exciting opportunity for a Credit Control Administrator to join our Finance Department, based at our Head Office in Telford. As a Credit Control Administrator, you will work with our Credit Control Team, supporting the Collections Manager with the day-to-day credit control administration tasks, ensuring systems and processes are followed and legal liaison is adhered to.
Key Responsibilities of the role:
Organise and manage the credit control shared email inboxes
Sending copy invoices, credit notes and statements
Compile and co-ordinate an overdue customer file for 3rd party collection agencies and review monthly reports provided
Preparation of credit control reminder letters
Deal with incoming telephone and email queries
Maintain accurate customer records
Facilitate the resolution of service issues that are preventing customers paying the Company
Develop and maintain effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders to ensure that debt collection is maximised
Support Collections Manager with month end tasksKnowledge, Skills and Experience:
Credit control experience is desirable, not essential, but you must be comfortable dealing with a high level of activity within a busy office environment.
Experience and understanding of B2B insolvencies and legal process ideal but not essential
Excellent communication skills with the ability to articulate your message to customers and colleagues
Good level of I.T skills (MS Excel)
Experience with ERP systems (SAP desirable but not essential)
Ability to plan and organise own workload
