Job: Welder/Fabricators

Location: Midsomer Norton, Radstock

Hours: 7am - 3.30pm (Flexibility required - info below)

Pay: £12.50 - 14.50 DOE and qualifications + Generous overtime

I am seeking welder/ fabricators to cover my client's workshop in Midsomer Norton, Radstock as well as their client sites across the South of the UK. If you want to join a growing local company and you have proven MIG/STICK/ARC welding/fabrication experience, I want to hear from you.

You will need to either hold an NVQ/C&G or coded (can be out of date) qualification in welding or engineering to be considered.

The company are heavily involved within the Quarry sector and are now providing maintenance support to many companies. They have contracts to maintain equipment within factories, recycling plants and construction sites in addition to their core business within the quarry sector where they cover all aspects of static plant machinery.

To maximise your earning potential, you will want to be extremely flexible during your working week. Your core hours are 40 hours a week (7am - 3.30pm) however the company is so busy working hours can range up to 60 hours per week. Overtime is from time and half to double time (dependant on hours and days worked) and travel to sites is paid as part of your working day.

This role has great earning potential for individuals with the skill set required and the desire to earn an excellent wage- Salary range: 28K-50K dependant on hours worked.


* Proven Welding/Fabrication experience is essential

* NVQ/C&G in engineering discipline (desirable)

* 1 weekend in 3 required to work

* Full clean driving preferred but not essential if you live locally

* A CSCS or a SPA card desirable
