Overview

2fawcett are recruiting for an Account Manager to join a well-established company in Castle Donington. The successful candidate will be responsible for two key areas: Commercial and Operational.

Commercially this position is responsible for manager & growing a revenue and margin targets. Operationally managing day-to-day operational aspects of a project and scope and effectively apply our methodology and enforce project standards.

The Role & Responsibilities of the Account Manager
  • Manages project budget.
  • Determines appropriate revenue recognition, ensures timely and accurate invoicing, and monitors receivables for project.
  • Follows up with clients, when necessary, regarding unpaid invoices.
  • Accurately forecasts revenue, profitability, margins, and utilisation.
  • Assures project legal documents are completed and signed.
  • Identifies company development and "add-on" sales opportunities as they relate to a specific project.
  • Leads proposal efforts including completing project scoping and loss of earnings assessments.
  • Facilitates team and client meetings effectively.
  • Holds regular status meetings with project team.
  • Effectively communicates relevant project information to Senior Managers.
  • Understands how to communicate difficult/sensitive information tactfully.
  • Identifies opportunities for improvement and makes constructive suggestions for change.
  • Manages the process of innovative change effectively.
  • Remains on the forefront of emerging industry practices.
  • Manages day-to-day client interaction.
  • Sets and manages client expectations.
  • Continually seeks opportunities to increase customer satisfaction and deepen client relationships.
  • Builds a knowledge base of each client's business, organisation, and objectives.
  • Complies with and helps to enforce standard policies and procedures

Requirements of Account Manager
  • Event or construction experience is critical
  • Possesses general understanding Project Management Software including but not limited to All Hire and Visual Planning
  • IT Literate. Power Point, Excel, Word
  • Strong Commercial Awareness
  • Good communications skills
  • Proven track record within the industry in both sales and project management 4 years
  • Must hold clean, valid driving licence.
  • Flexible and able to travel
  • Be available to work away for home for long periods
