Empowering Learning are supporting a successful Multi-Academy Trust with Primary and Secondary schools based across England. They are currently seeking to appoint a Vice Principal to oversee Curriculum and Standards) within one of their Secondary schools based in the West Midlands, from January 2022 on a permanent basis - (Salary: L18 - L22)

This position of Vice Principal is a key appointment, and the successful person will become part of a dynamic team, with a wide-ranging array of responsibilities.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES / KEY EXPERIENCE
  • Substantial school leadership experience
  • Successful experience of teaching at key stages 3 and 4
  • Track record of raising standards in or across departments / school
  • An excellent understanding of strategies to develop effective Curriculum, Teaching, Learning and Assessment practice
  • Deep knowledge of what constitutes effective teaching and learning
  • Experience of using a range of tools and evidence, including data, to evaluate the effectiveness of learning and teaching, challenge underperformance, and target issues
