Are you looking for a role where you can make a real difference? We are looking for someone to share their expertise and experience in Childcare to help our students find valuable work experience placements, assess their skills and qualities in placement as well as offering advice and guidance on future careers and higher education opportunities.

A Levels or an equivalent qualification in Childcare is required for this role, along with experience of working with children in a nursery and/or primary school setting. You are also required to have or be willing to obtain; Level 2 English and Maths (GCSE A*-C,9-4 or equivalent), IOSH Managing Safely or equivalent, an Assessors Award and a level 4 qualification in Careers Information, Advice & Guidance (the cost of funding these qualifications and appropriate support will be provided to the successful candidate at CWA). An interest in working with young people and/or adults in a supportive and advisory capacity is essential as is the ability to communicate with people on all levels. You will need to be flexible to meet the needs of the students and this means that some evening work will be required, to support our adult Teaching Assistant learners.

We offer an excellent package including a generous annual leave allowance, plus five College closure days (pro-rata for part-time), fee waivers on some College courses (see above), a contributory pension scheme and support with training and development.

The role can be challenging at times but extremely rewarding when you see students achieving their goals.

You can now view all our current vacancies on (url removed) and apply on-line should you wish to.
