Senior Marketing Executive
We are seeking a high-energy proactive marketing executive who can help us to grow our company as we drive to fulfill our mission of connecting knowledge with need across the UK and Europe. You'll be a person with a passion for the field of mental health and have over 5 years of business marketing experience. This important, varied and unique role involves multi-tasking across many of the business functions including marketing, events and business development.
What you'll be doing:
* Set up and support live online and in-person* events on the day of, including welcoming attendees, problem solving, communicating with staff, speakers, attendees and organising exhibitors, event administration
* Analyse key takeaways for improvement of events from analysis of customer feedback
* Write and develop compelling offers (both short and long-form copy) that build trust and drive customers to make an immediate purchase
* Develop, test, implement and analyse direct mail campaigns
* Develop, edit and proof promotional materials, website content, advertisements and other marketing related projects
* Analyse campaigns performance using established metrics to evaluate effectiveness and success
* Create, write, edit, publish and share on-brand daily content (e.g., original text, blogs, images, video, HTML) that expands social reach and builds meaningful engagement with our audience and drives revenue including, but not limited to, Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Instagram, YouTube
* Assist in monitoring and responding to social media customer comments, questions and reviews
* Make data driven decisions related to the design and development of new campaigns/content ideas
* Action details of partnership, CPD and new business contract and communicate with various media buyers, advertising agencies, printers, designers and other services to help marketing campaigns come to fruition
* Edit, amend and update website on a daily basis through CMS
* Update P&Ls and provide sales analysis
* Continuously evaluate and identify opportunities to drive process improvements that positively impact the business and customer experience
* In-person events are not currently running at present due to the pandemic
Your qualifications and essentials:
* Undergraduate degree in marketing, business and/or mental health
* 5 years plus experience in one or more areas of marketing, business development, CPD development or business ownership
* Marketing experience with social media sites and platforms such as Sprout, Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn and Instagram
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
* Ability to manage multiple tasks with great attention to detail
* Able to work a flexible schedule, including weekend work and occasional overtime when needed
* Excellent problem-solving skills in challenging and fast-paced environment
Your preferred Skills:
* Obtained Chartered Institute of Marketing (CIM) Diploma in marketing
* Obtained a mental health qualification e.g., psychotherapist, psychologist or counsellor or related mental health experience
* Proficiency in HubSpot Marketing, Google Analytics or other web analytics service
* Experience with direct marketing copywriting and experience with content and learning management systems
* Experience with social media sites such as Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn, Instagram
* Experience with graphics editing and management, i.e., Adobe Photoshop, InDesign, Canva
* Advanced computer proficiency in Microsoft applications, especially Microsoft excel
