Academics are currently looking to recruit Social Science Teachers (and Instructors) for day-to-day supply and short (with the potential of long) term contracts within their partnership Stoke-on-Trent secondary schools.

Our supply opportunities are great as they allow our teachers to be flexible with the days that they wish to work and ideally for ECT's & NQT's these roles could lead to more long-term and permanent roles in some of our schools.
As a Social Sciences Teacher (or Instructor), you will:
Be able to deliver appealing lessons to engage learners in the classroom.
Have evidence of creatively developing curriculum content and a track record of ensuring positive results with students in both Key Stage 4 and Key Stage 5.
Hold the relevant Social Sciences qualification (PGCE, B. Ed or BA Hons in Psychology, Sociology, Criminology, or vocational CACHE and Health & Social Care) with a Qualified Teaching Status (QTS).
Hold a current Enhanced DBS that is registered with the Update Service; or to be happy to apply for a new DBS with ourselves (cost applied).Academics are a leading national education agency that specialises in the recruitment of permanent, long term and daily supply teachers and support staff.
