We are currently working with successful broking group, who are now looking to add to their team, in their office in Witney. They currently have 22 people working in the commercial team here, and are now keen to add someone new to the team, to help them continue their impressive growth plans. As such this represents a great opportunity to join a Broking group that are genuinely going places.

This broker are open to speaking to people with varying levels of experience, and not just within the insurance market. So, they would like to talk to you if you have general commercial insurance broking experience or personal lines insurance experience, as well as those with sales experience, retail banking experience or 1-2 years' experience in a retail based sales role, as full training (and support to pass the Cert CII Insurance exams) will be given.

They provide a working culture that is close knit and friendly, but professional and hardworking at the same time and they aim to deliver a fantastic service for their clients at all times.

You will be responsible for the servicing of new and existing Commercial Insurance clients, being tasked with winning new commercial business to begin with. You will also handle then renewals for new and existing clients, as well as liaising with Insurers/Underwriters. The book of busines here is currently made up or around 65% Commercial Motor Fleet, and 35% Commercial combined, with plans to increase the amount of Commercial combined clientele moving forward.

This is a great opportunity for an enthusiastic person either already in the insurance market, or someone looking to enter this industry, who would like to expand their skills and knowledge as this broker are renowned for their ongoing training and development, whilst this also represents a great opportunity for a more experienced Account Handler, looking for a new challenge. Those with the Cert CII qualification would be at a distinct advantage, although this is not essential.

You should be able to demonstrate a good grounding dealing with commercial insurance products, possessing a confident telephone manner and be able to work with clients at all levels.

Salary on offer is £20-32,000, depending on skills and experience. Salary reviews are also undertaken every year for which they heavily reward staff who have exceeded their expectations.

Office hours are Monday to Friday 8:30am-5:30pm, and 1 in 5 Saturdays 8:30am-12:30pm.
