My client based in BD17 is looking for an Accounts Administrator on a part time basis.
Ideally, you'll have a formal accounting qualification or a proven track record of working in a similar role to work confidently and independently after the induction period.
An amount of flexibility is required around hours as these could be increased for holiday cover
(Approximately 3-4 weeks equivalent/year.) or needs of the business.
Duties and responsibilities include but not limited to:
Carrying out accounting duties in line with AAT/CIMA/HMRC best practice
Reconciling of GBP and currency accounts
Credit control - statements and dealing with overdue accounts
Setting up new customer accounts inc. credit checks
Liaising with HMRC & Chartered Accountants
Input of import documentation & dealing with import agents
Excel data reporting
Inputting of month end and year end journals
Dealing with supplier/client queries
Inputting purchase invoices and creation of sales invoices
Assistance with sales/purchase order processing/delivery notes
Working with ISO QMS and input to maintain and improve on the ISO 9001 standard
Other general accounting duties and assistance with sales administration including obtaining quotations and creating delivery notes/picking lists etc to meet the needs of the business.
Preferred - SAP business 1 knowledge or similar package, to learn the new system quickly Minimum of 16 hours per week - increase can be negotiated.
Salary £24,000 P/A pro rata
