Page Personnel are very pleased to be exclusively representing a fantastic forward-thinking business in Chester to recruit a Finance Supervisor to manage a hard-working team of 3 across accounts payable and receivable. This is a excellent opportunity to drive process improvements, encourage and mentor excellent accountancy staff and drive your own career forward with a supportive management structure.

The successful Finance Supervisor will have full autonomy of the accountancy team of 3, driving processes and encouraging staff development - This is an excellent opportunity for a proven supervisor to spread their wings and take ownership of their role.


As a Finance Supervisor your duties will include:
  • Team management of a stable and capable team of 3 transactional finance staff
  • Overseeing finance tasks including Purchase and Sales Ledgers
  • Team development and training
  • Supporting and mentoring team performance, setting achievable goals and deadlines
  • Providing month end KPI reports on business and team performance
  • Overseeing with client utility invoicing
  • Cash allocations
  • Bank reconciliations
  • Assisting with company projects and process improvements
  • Working closely with the Financial Controller on team forecasts and business objectives


The successful Finance Supervisor will be:
  • A capable and approachable team leader with proven management or supervisory experience
  • Friendly in their approach to management
  • Comprehensive transactional finance knowledge and understanding
  • Expose to company utilities would be an advantage
  • Confident with EPR systems including Excel in order to support and build on KPI reporting initiatives
  • Confident communicating with people at all levels
  • Flexible in their approach to work
  • Strong ability to delegate tasks and support staff remotely where required
