CNC Haas Milling Programmer/Setter/Operator

Experienced with Fanuc controls?
We are looking for a permanent CNC Miller Programmer/setter/Operator a Hass machine, to join a medium sized machine shop you will be required to machine small batches. Based in the Brierley Hill area, specialised in supplying bespoke parts to blue-chip companies and manufacturers on a global scale.
As CNC Miller Programmer/Setter/Operator, your responsibilities will vary from programming, setting and operating CNC Haas to reading and understanding engineering technical drawings. Further responsibilities are listed below.
Knowledge of Fanuc control systems is ESSENTIAL for this role. You will be required to work within a detailed ISO 9001 Quality Management System (QMS).

Main responsibilities:

To be fully conversant with programming, setting and operating CNC Milling Haas machine with Fanuc controls
Have the ability to set, operate and program small and medium batch quantities
The ability to produce precision components from a variety of engineering materials
To produce components within a cost-effective time-frame
The ability to read and understand engineering technical drawings
Conversant with all necessary measuring equipment
Able to work under own initiative and capable of working with limited supervision
Self-inspection
Have the ability to communicate with people at all levels and work pro-actively as part of a team
Take part in training provided
Be responsible for working in a clean and tidy manner adhering to Health & Safety requirements
Any other duties as required.

The hours for this position are 7.30am to 4pm Monday to Friday.

The pay rate for this role is dependent on experience.
