Business Analyst - Data & Analytics

London, Birmingham or Manchester

£40K - £70K + benefits

We are working with a leading global consulting firm who have exciting opportunities for experienced Business Analysts to join their expanding Technology Advisory team. The team work with clients to deliver data driven, digital transformation projects. They are looking for Business Analysts with dashboard development, process & data mapping, data analysis, Power BI and Data Warehouse skills with a strong track record of delivering data and analytics projects.

The team work with clients across multiple sectors including transport & infrastructure, natural resources, energy, defence, central and local government, real estate and construction.

The role

* Understand client's data and systems and map out end to end processes and data flows

* Develop wireframes, proof-of-concepts or specifications of dashboards

* Develop Power BI dashboards to support data driven decision making

* Evaluate, design, implement & manage database solutions according to client requirements

* Extract and integrate large data sets from multiple legacy sources

* Set up and maintain automated reporting processes

* Provide technical expertise in delivering business requirements

Skills & Experience

* Ability to capture and define management information requirements

* Understand the principles of Azure data warehouse and SQL Server

* Experience in developing end to end automated reporting processes

* Ability to develop technical and functional specifications

* Sound understanding of reporting concepts including processes, data models and reporting hierarchy

* Degree education and / or professional qualifications (BCS etc)

* Ideally advanced Excel and VBA Skills
