Vocative are pleased to be partnering with a large and fast growing insurance business as they grow their technology team. They are looking to hire a Data Business Analyst on a permanent basis - to be based in London but with very flexible working from home arrangements as required.

You'll be working closely with the data warehousing teams as they build business critical systems and data flows. You'll be responsible for detailing and documenting requirements around data mapping and ETL, and helping to build data models and document requirements for dashboards and other reporting. You'll be heavily involved in systems and data integration and will be responsible for systems requirements and defining inputs.

You'll need excellent communication skills, as you'll be working with technical teams, users and stakeholders, and the ability to influence and persuade as well as build relationships will be essential. Additionally you'll need strong understanding of data warehousing, data models and data lakes; and some technical capability in SQL and PowerBI would be useful; whilst you won't be writing code you will need to query data to identify and document issues, and an understanding of dashboard creation will be helpful.

Insurance experience is essential - knowledge of underwriting would be ideal. Once the initial programme is complete (which will be years rather than months) you will work on a series of data initiatives which are at the heart of the company's growth strategy.

This is a long term permanent opportunity for a candidate looking to build a career with a blue chip organisation. It will pay up to around £70K base.

You'll need to be able to be in London a couple of days a week if required but otherwise can work from home. The role will pay in the region of £45-50K. For more details please contact Justin Sleep with a copy of your CV
