Arup are an independent firm of designers, planners, engineers, consultants and technical specialists offering a broad range of professional services. Arup are currently looking a Systems Engineers to work on the HS2 programme.

AMS is the world's leading provider of Talent Acquisition and Management Services. We partner with Arup to support contingent recruitment processes.

The Systems Engineers will be expected to follow current departmental process and will be encouraged to participate in the further development of these processes.

This Systems Engineer's role is an initial 12 month contract and will be based working from home. The Systems Engineer will be working on the HS2 Programme.

As a Systems Engineer your skills and qualifications will ideally include:

Relevant degree in civil, structural, systems or electrical engineering
Experience as a Systems Engineer or Requirements Manager on a rail infrastructure project
Must have TSI Management experience - European requirements into UK
Experience of requirements management tools (DOORS)
Excellent stakeholder management skillset
As a Systems Engineer your main responsibilities will involve:

Requirements Management using DOORS
Review and approve Technical documentation produced by team.
Customer and supplier facing responsibilities to discuss and agree qualification strategy and activity.
Systems engineering evaluation against requirements to produce qualification statements including analysis and comparison of requirements and build standards.
Planning, arranging and attending test activities including control of test hardware, test support equipment, transportation and test cost and schedule.
