Engineering Manager - Market leading business

THE OPPORTUNITY: This is a day's position working Monday to Friday (40 hour week).

H&S - Responsible for ensuring compliance with company and national H&S legislation. Ensure Risk Assessments/COSSH/RIDDOR are implemented.

Engineering

Plan resource to meet production
Oversee PPM to ensure maintenance is carried out properly
Plan and direct installation, testing, operation and maintenance/repair of facilities and equipment
Provide training to engineers and operator on new machinery
Manage engineering team - absence, discipline and grievance
Drive continuous improvement
Monitor Engineering budgets

THE CANDIDATE:

Previous experience as Engineering Manager
Engineering qualification - ideally degree or HNC
Experience managing maintenance department and multiple engineers
Experience managing budgets
Experience driving continuous improvement
Experience with H&S -writing RAMS, ideally NEBOSH or IOSH qualification
Experience within fast paced production, manufacturing or FMCG environment
Comfortable communicating with senior management
Knowledge or ERP system (ideally AX)
