Job Title: Engineering Project Co-ordinator

Remit of the Role
To manage assigned Engineering projects to ensure they are delivered on time and to budget. Enable different engineers and teams to collaborate. Coordinate Engineering projects for both technical delivery and people / stakeholder management. Influencing 'virtual team' delivery. Maintain project road maps and dashboards; Prepare project documentation for gate review process / submissions. Report KPI data to enable summary reporting by Engineering Project Manager.
The principal accountabilities of the Engineering Project Co-ordinator are:
Accountable for ensuring Engineering design and development projects are delivered on time and to budget.
Influence engineering development teams to engage in the process and provide inputs on time to meet project deadlines.
Maintain project documentation - project plans; budgets; resource planning. Maintain project risks and issues register. Develop mitigation plans - engage with senior stakeholders to inform of project risks.
Demonstrate the Lucy Electric values and behaviors
Seek development opportunities and experiment with new approaches and practices to stay current in the technical project management environment.
Guarantee the delivery of the business strategy, by ensuring you manage delivery of your own objectives and prepare for your regular performance management meetings. Ensure planning/preparation for monthly one to ones.
Strive to improve the overall financial and key performance indicators of the business
The role will be based in UK, with the possibility of occasional travel to other Lucy overseas sites.Experience Knowledge and Skills
Demonstrated project management capability. Equivalent Prince 2 or similar knowledge. Risk / issue management. Ability to translate complex issues using simple explanatory reporting.
Relevant Engineering qualification
Driven to share knowledge and ability to encourage others to do the same. Ability to listen and be open to new ideas and the ideas of others.
Significant experience of working in a multi-national, matrix organisation.
Strong communications and presentation skills, creative with a keen commercial awareness.Behavioural Competencies
