This Electrical Engineer role is with a globally operating chemical manufacturing business with sites strategically located all over the world. The site has recently sanctioned a huge multi-million-pound investment to ensure that they maintain their status as a market leading chemical manufacturer, with a number of upgrades and refurbishments set to be onsite.
Key responsibilities of the Electrical Engineer:
Maintain plant instrument and electrical standards to comply with defined statutory and company standards. Identification areas for improvement in compliance and carrying out improvements to agreed programmes.
Specify and plan work utilising internal or external resource to ensure delivery of safe, cost effective maintenance.
Define and implement asset maintenance programmes and procedures to maintain or improve asset performance.
Contribute to the development of site policies and organisation so as to achieve continuous improvements in all aspects of manufacturing capability.
Using internal and external best practice standards manage our asset health.
Focal point as site support for operations IT utilising internal and external resource to cover 24/7.I would be really keen to speak with you if you have previous experience working as an Electrical Engineer working on a manufacturing site. The role will typically 2nd / 3rd appointment post graduation and the individual will rely on other functional Engineers for technical support.
The Electrical Engineer will work 37.5 hours per week on a days based role. The package includes 26 days holiday plus stats, 15% pension, death in service, income protection and up to 6% discretionary annual bonus. There is ample parking available on site, good motorway access and a canteen.
