Role: EMC Test Engineer

Location: Worcestershire

Salary: Competitive

Shifts: 37.5 hours/week - Shifts will vary each week (Week patterns include 6am to 2pm / 8.30am to 5pm / 2pm to 10pm)

Russell Taylor Group has a fantastic opportunity for an EMC Test Engineer with experience working a commercial EMC test laboratory. The ideal candidate will have previous experience in test to EN and FCC EMC specifications but a recent graduate is also suitable for this role as a test technician.

Responsibilities

Perform testing and prepare test reports to procedures laid down in the procedures manual
Identify a need for new measurement methods when procedures do not cover the exact nature of the test being carried out
Maintain a technical electronic logbook
Record test results to plot graphical results
Deal with client enquires related to work schedules and costing
Perform a variety of both routine and non-routine testing assignments within the department to ensure accurate timely results are produced with minimal supervision

The Person

Knowledge and experience of EMC and electrical principles
Understanding of relevant Health and Safety systems and environmental regulations
Knowledge of relevant Health and Safety systems and environmental regulations
Experience working within the electronics industry is essential for this role
