Care Manager for Complex Care Provider to cover packages in either the Midlands and or London.

Our client is a leading privately owned complex care provider and due continued growth is recruiting for a care manager. Ideal candidates will have experience of working with clients who require ventilation, tracheostomy and who have suffered from spinal injury.


1.1. To compile rotas on a monthly basis.

1.2. Understanding the need to promote independence and empowerment in a supportive way when providing care.

1.3. Meeting the clients clinical and rehabilitation needs

1.4. Lead and support team members, acting as advocate and liaising with Directors and Clinical Care Managers.

1.5. Carefully following a care plan and advising Directors and Clinical Care Managers of changes.

1.6. To be aware of when care plans and risk assessment are due to be renewed and action / advise Directors and Clinical Care Managers of this.

1.7. Referring to and complying with the policies and procedures directed by client

1.8. To work together as a team for the benefit of clients.

1.9. The flexibility to cover shifts in the event of sickness.

1.10. The ability to organise teams and arrange cover when requested by Directors and Clinical Care Managers.

1.11. The ability to carry out supervisions of team members as and when required.

1.12. Accurate reporting and record keeping in line with UKHCA and CQC.

1.13. To work within the teams being managed.

1.14. To teach and communicate appropriate and relevant information to Support Workers.

1.15. To develop the position and take the lead in providing a high standard of community care.

1.16. To manage the assigned case load of clients.

1.17. To manage the responsibility associated with recruitment and retention of staff and rota management.

1. .18 Continually updating records in accordance with guidelines.

1.19. To plan a monthly diary which will include shifts, client visits, training, supervisions / appraisals and anything else required to meet the needs of this position
