We're looking for an Area Manager to oversee Supported Living services across Shropshire, Salary up to £34.5K. The successful candidate will be joining a reputable charity that provides care and support to people with learning disabilities and autism.

They are a dynamic organisation who are passionate about supporting vulnerable adults within supported living and day services.

Their Supported Living services support adults with learning disabilities to engage in a range of meaningful activities, hobbies, interests, education, and employment.


Oversee supported living services across the Shropshire area.
Mentor, support and monitor the care managers and their services.
Liaise with commissioners and external professionals to maintain good working relationship.
Support with the planning, directing, following, and delivering high-quality person-centred care.
Ensure the services and their resources are managed effectively, economically, and efficiently.Requirements:

Experience as a Registered Manager within supported living as a minimum.
Additional experience of meeting all regulatory and statutory requirements, including CQC, health & safety and local authority requirements.
Level 5 in Health and Social Care leadership and management.
Excellent people management and leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
A full driving licence is essential for this role.The Person:

To be considered for the role of Service Manager, you will need;

Minimum level 3 Health & Social Care, with the willingness to complete the QCF 5 in Leadership & Management.
Strong knowledge and understanding of working with learning disabilities and autism.
Experience of staff management and leadership within supported living or outreach service, Deputy Managers / Assistant Manager will be considered.
