I am currently recruiting for two permanent English Teacher and English Lead with experience teaching to KS3 learners attending an alternative provision situated in the Wakefield area. The role is a full time position to start in at October half term.
Job description and Spec:
Hold qualified teacher status or equivalent depending on experience.
Degree in English language, literature, humanities or equivalent.
Implement and deliver appropriately, broad, balanced relevant and differentiated curriculum for students.
Monitor and support overall progress and development of students.
Assist in development and appropriate syllabus, resources and marking policies.
Communicate effectively with students, and parents.
Promote general progress and well-being and educational development for the students.
Apply behaviour management procedures so effective learning can take place.
Teach the students according to their educational needs.
Experience of working within a pupil referral unit or similar setting.
