1st Line Support Analyst

A 1st Line Support Analyst is needed to join the growing service desk team of a leading software house based in Chessington, Surrey.

As the first point of contact for users; you'll be supporting a variety of clients with their technical queries relating to the companies' software via telephone and email. No prior IT support experience is necessary as you'll be fully supported with an intensive onboarding process to ensure that you understand the software and systems before being entrusted with providing advice and assistance to the users.

Although full training in their software will be provided, it is important that you can demonstrate an awareness of IT and ideally have completed and IT / Computer Science (or similar) course along with:

* The ability to troubleshoot technical issues (perhaps you are the go-to person in your network to solve any technical issues?)

* Excellent communication skills and confidence in speaking with users over the telephone.

* Previous customer service experience ideally.

* An interest in software and any prior experience of SQL would be ideal, but not essential.

The company invest in their staff with regular access to internal and external training courses bring provided including professional certifications. There are also many avenues for you to progress your career, whether it be through the service desk team or wider IT team in roles including Project Management, Consultancy and Development.

At present the team are working three days in the Chessington office (Tuesday - Thursday) with Monday and Fridays worked remotely from home. This arrangement is set to continue for some time, prior to hopefully a return to the office full time.

There is ample free parking onsite, and they are just a short walk from the rail station.
