A Contingent Worker Workstream Lead with skills is required to work on a 6 Month contract, with the possibility of extension for our Aerospace client based in Preston.

Overview of the Contingent Worker Workstream Lead contract role

Reporting to Recruitment Transformation Programme Manager, the Workstream Lead for Contingent, will be responsible for project managing a roadmap of transformation activities to achieve a best in class Contingent Recruitment Model, Process and Technology solution. Contingent hiring is key resourcing model to BAE Systems ambitions and growth and the right candidate will have the opportunity to design, develop and implement our Contingent recruitment journey across the UK. As part of the BAE Systems recruitment transformation team this person will be involved in an exciting group wide project. The recruitment transformation project is a BAE Systems Group wide strategic change programme to upskill the recruitment function - moving away from a transactional model and creating a strategic function capable of delivering against the demands of "new world" talent acquisition

Responsibilities of the Contingent Worker Workstream Lead contract role

Overall Responsibility for the programme managing the roadmap of activities across Technology systems, org design and process to deliver the changes required to ensure BAE Systems Contingent recruitment is world class.

Work with the current delivery teams to design, develop and implement best in class contingent recruitment process, technology and delivery model to fulfil current skill gaps and future talent requirements across BAE systems.
Ensure an exciting, engaging, consistent candidate experience throughout the journey through application, assessment and on-boarding process.
Support the design and delivery of a suite of reporting metrics to analyse the success of the recruitment journey and continue to look at new and innovative ways to improve/extend it.
Engage with key stakeholders internally and lead a collaborative approach to implementing changes.
Ensure all applicable policies and procedures are in place and adhered to.
Collaborate with the wider Recruitment transformation project team to ensure alignment on strategy, process and technology and ensure dependencies are planned for.Key skills required for the Contingent Worker Workstream Lead contract role

Experience in developing and implementing contingent recruitment strategies and solutions.

A proven ability to think strategically and interpret data
Extensive experience working within and leading a Recruitment/Talent Acquisition team supporting contingent recruitment · Working knowledge of the contingent worker regulations including IR35 · Experience and strategic knowledge of contingent demand planning
Experience in managing, coaching and leading a team
A strong advocate for diversity and inclusion as well as social mobility BAE SYSTEMS
A proven track record of working in a complex matrix driven organisation and influencing multiple stakeholders
A driven self-starter with excellent interpersonal, communication, and critical thinking skills
The desire and drive to be creative, come up with new ideas and not be afraid to roll their sleeves up Skills:
Experience and Skill in the use of and management of contingent management systems to support recruitment, rate cards and payment including analysing data, SLAs, and KPIs specifically for contingent
Skilled in driving and implementing recruitment projects, including diversity initiatives · Ability to programme manage multiple projects
Ability to break projects down into multiple components and ensure resource/actions to complete are understood
Strong collaboration skills across function, department and business areas
Excellent verbal and written communication skills and attention to detail
Ability to interact effectively with senior stakeholders
Strong communication and partnering skills.The role is based in Preston, Lancashire - commutable from Blackpool, Lancaster, Morecambe, Chorley, Leyland, Blackburn, Darwen, Burnley, Skipton, Stockport, Manchester, Warrington, Wigan, Bolton, Bury, Rochdale and Oldham with excellent access from Liverpool and Leeds
