Hedges Direct Ltd has an opportunity for a Social Media & Influencer Marketing Assistant to join the team based in Chorley. You will join us on a full time, permanent basis and in return, you will receive a competitive salary of £18,000 - £20,000 dependant on experience.

The Visual Content Marketing Assistant role:
We are looking for a confident social media and influencer marketing assistant to join our growing internal digital marketing team. Working across multiple brands, in a busy e-commerce business you will work and assist with the wider team to deliver exciting campaigns and engage with our social platforms.
Key responsibilities as our Social Media & Influencer Marketing Assistant:
- Manage and execute the social media strategy (organic & paid) across our social media accounts which include Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Youtube, Pinterest and any future additional social media channels
- Take ownership of the brand community by responding to and engaging with any mentions and comments across social media channels
- Work closely with our customer care team to ensure that we are providing the best customer service through our social media channels
- Manage and execute the influencer marketing strategy, liaising with content creators to increase our brand awareness
- Work with the wider marketing teams to generate ideas and identify opportunities for content marketing
- Support the social media plan by researching new ideas and keeping up to date with any market changes
- Stay up to date with content marketing trends and digital environment and share knowledge across the team
Skills and experience required for our Social Media & Influencer Marketing Assistant:
- Ideally educated to degree level in English, Marketing, Journalism or similar
- Experience creating social content with a creative eye for what makes scroll stopping content
- Experience managing paid social media campaigns
- A confident copy-writer with the ability to adapt to different brand voices
- Outstanding grammar, spelling and punctuation
- Exceptional attention to detail with an eye for consistency
- A pro-active person who can deliver to strict deadlines
- A self-starter with a willingness to learn and the ability to consistently come up with fresh ideas and spot opportunities for content marketing
- Excellent planning and organisational skills
- Experience working in a busy environment across multiple brands
- Ability to work with wider marketing team
- At least 1 years' experience in a previous marketing role
