Electrical Supervisor - Maintenance

We are currently recruiting for an Electrical Supervisor to work as part of a large maintenance team, supporting the Technical Manager in their day-to-day role as well as completing some hands-on work.
Duties of the role include:
Deputising for the Technical Manager as required.
Completing 121's with engineering staff and progression appraisals.
Meeting with subcontractors to discuss performance.
Plan the PPM activities for the engineering team with the help of the technical administrators. to ensure all systems are being maintained on time and within KPI's.
Managing the engineering on-call rota.
Approving engineering time-sheets.
Managing the engineers holiday rota.
Budget controls of on-site stock and engineering spares.
Attend health and safety forums as required.
Being an authorised AP on the site (willing to undergo training for this).
Raising KPI reports for management meetings
Carrying out monthly site audits
Assisting with condition surveys and action plans
Taking part in engineering and hands-on works as required by the department which could include electrical, mechanical or fabric.
Responsible for the building assets, plant and equipment's working condition.
Promoting safe working practices.
Attending training courses as required.
Project Management and Lifecycle work as required.

The ideal candidate will have the following skills and experience:
Electrical background with City and Guilds, Apprenticeship or NVQ qualifications
HV and LV experience is a great advantage
Good communication skills
Good level of IT literacy including using spreadsheets
Strong knowledge of H+S and technical compliance requirements in a maintenance environment
