My client, a thriving logistics business near moorgate is looking to recruit a Senior Accounts Payable Specialist to help support the team. The role will be remote 4 days of the week with 1 day in the office.
They are looking for someone who has a passion for processing invoices. They currently process just over 2000 invoices per month through Dext (ReceiptBank). This role is currently being outsourced to an Indian firm and they are looking to bring the role back in house.
They work collaboratively between functions to ensure we give our customers the best experience. It's fun and fast moving.
Your responsibilities will include:
Processing supplier invoices
Ensure costs match against the PO and enter into query any discrepancies
Enter job tracking information onto the AP software
Ensure the correct GL codes are used
Handling queries regarding supplier invoices (these will be from internal colleagues and suppliers)Key Requirements
Previous Accounts Payable experience in an AP automated environment
Understanding of basic accounts payable principles
A forward thinker who embraces change
Strong attention to detail
Proactive, can do attitude
Strong written and verbal communication skills; friendly manner on the phone and email
