As Operations Manager you will be joining a successful telecoms company working on a major fibre telecoms contract throughout Northern Ireland. Based in Belfast / working from home you will be responsible for the day-to-day field management of production delivery at Operative and Depot level across specific work streams and/or geographical areas, including delivery to Client requirements, safety, quality, street works, supplier performance and improvement.

As Operations Manager your duties will include but not be limited to the following:-

Support & Direct Project Managers to ensure all contracts are completed within budget and that KPI's are met. You must ensure all orders are completed in line with their due date delivery or agreed milestone date.
Ensure that the entire production delivery organisation at Depot and operative level in the region, including supplier owners, managers, supervisors and operatives understand the requirements to delivery all of our work safely, in line with the specified quality standards, in accordance with NRSWA and to the delivery requirements (date, priority, sequence, etc) set by the customer.
Ensure that accidents, incidents, near misses, quality failures and service deterioration trends are investigated competently and that effective root cause analysis, action planning, implementation and monitoring follow.
The ability and desire to investigate and assess production performance, productivity, safety and quality, to test that performance against the expectations set, to challenge unacceptable behaviour or performance in an appropriate and effective manner, to drive clear and measurable action plans for improvement and to ensure clear consequences are in place if that challenge is ignored or failed.
Challenge Project Managers Supervisors and suppliers on a daily basis on safety, quality, street works, resourcing, reporting and operational support (including but not limited to job packs, Hand Held Technology, equipment, tools, PPE, materials, logistics, welfare.
Liaise with all Clients and ensure a good relationship is developed and maintained. Attend all client meetings as requested.
Reporting to Company Directors on all aspects of the business.To be considered for this role you will have:

Experience in a similar Senior Management role with full responsibility for the successful operational running of telecoms projects.
Experience of working on underground Telecoms installations projects is essential.
Third level qualification / degree in a construction or engineering related subject is preferable but not essential.
Strong commercial and business acumen.
