Bethany Lodge is a care home specialising in the care of young adults with a disability such as Congenital Disorders, Acquired Brain Injury and Degenerative Illnesses. We are registered with The National Care Standard Commission to provide nursing and residential care. Founded in 1992, the lodge is purpose built with ground floor accommodation. There are 24 single bedrooms; showers and toilets are designed to accommodate wheelchairs.

We are recruiting permanent Support Workers to join our team working 48 hours per week on a shift basis.

We pay £9.00 ph (Monday to Friday) and £9.37 ph (Weekends).

In this role you will support our clients with activities of daily living, following their individually tailored care plans. While doing so you will ensure they feel safe, comfortable and have a level of care they require. An essential part of this job is to carry out personal care e.g. assisting residents with bathing, Toileting, Use of hoists & wheelchair uses etc. Full training will be provided.

We welcome applications from anyone who has worked in a similar role in the NHS or another private healthcare provider and will also consider people with no experience but who can demonstrate a caring and empathetic nature as well as experience of working in a team.

All new care staff are inducted to TOPPS standards and new and existing staff are encouraged to work towards a formal NVQ qualification.
