Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer

TXM are partnering with a well-known and reputable brand within the FMCG industry as they look to add a Multi-Skilled Engineer to the team. As the business continue to grow there is a foresight of projects for the engineering team to be involved in.

This role is working from 07:45 am - 20:00 pm on a weekly rotation. Week 1 is working Monday, Tuesday, Friday, Saturday & Sunday. Week 2 is working Wednesday and Thursday only.

Multi-Skilled Engineer Responsibilities:

Supporting the site in meeting it's production KPI's across 5 high speed production and packaging lines.
Responsible for asset care of production and packaging machinery through condition monitoring and planned maintenance.
Responding to breakdowns.
Involvement with the projects team, working on new line/machinery installations and the continuous improvement of existing lines and machinery.
Supporting any onsite contractors during the shift.
Maintenance of stores.Experience required:

Relevant engineering qualification - City & Guilds or NVQ Level 3, preferably electrical.
Ideally electrically biased - fault finding on PLC's, 3-phase equipment, sensors, control panels.
Experienced working within a fast paced, high volume production environment - food, drinks, packaging, dairy, pharmaceuticals.
