The Company:
McIver Knight Associates have partnered with a Food Manufacturing business that manufacture and supply their products globally. This manufacturing company are now seeking to recruit a hardworking and flexible Electrically biased Maintenance Engineer to assist with the maintenance of and care of site operations, ensuring that all the equipment is safe and fit for purpose.
The Candidate:
Working within a team of engineering staff, you will be responsible for ensuring that the electrical equipment / Mechanical, machinery and power systems are regularly maintained and inspected. Carry out preventative maintenance, problem solving and repairs to ensure the consistent running of the factory, machinery and all ancillary equipment.
Responsibilities:
·Carry out scheduled planned maintenance work of machinery, ancillary equipment and site services in order to minimise breakdowns.
·Investigate the nature of plant failures and subsequently carry out repairs as quickly and efficiently as possible.
·Carry out electrical / mechanical installation, general repairs and servicing of machinery to specification and on time.
·Breakdown response; carrying out the necessary repairs as quickly as possible in order to minimise inconvenience whilst keeping Shift Leaders/Managers fully informed of progress.
·Maintain a safe and healthy working environment and ensure that all equipment is used in accordance with safety regulations and company policy.
