PLM Manager - Milton Keynes - £38,000 to £45,000 - Plus Benefits
Melbreck are working with a leading designer and manufacturer of special purpose equipment based just outside of Milton Keynes.
Due to a successful start to 2021, with new product launches on the horizon, they are looking to strengthen their capacity within configuration management and as such are looking to hire a PLM Manager to join their business ASAP.
PLM Manager - Role overview:
Working with the engineering manager you will be responsible for the strategic planning, workload and resource management, project coordination and impact assessment of all Configuration Management and PLM activities.
PLM Manager - Responsibilities:
Establish and maintain efficient working practices
Strategise, plan, prioritise, and coordinate all Configuration Management and PLM activities.
Manage a dedicated of specialists for the effective implementation of Configuration Management.
To manage and coordinate Change Management, Configuration Management and Product Lifecycle Management sub-teams and consultant activities.
To monitor and budget all Configuration Management and PLM activities.
To be responsible for PLM software licensing, including the review of subscription and maintenance agreements.
To own, maintain, and continuously improve Change Management processes and supporting systems for the creation and evolution of processes and system data.
PLM Manager - Job Holder Requirements:
High-level knowledge, and experience working with CAD, PDM, PLM and ERP tools.
Knowledge and experience working with ISO 9001 and 10007 standards.
High-level experience and understanding of 'lean' process improvement techniques.
Excellent written and verbal communication and IT literate.
Windchill Business Administration Certification.
Configuration Management CM2 Certification required.
High-level Configuration and Change Management experience.
Technical background and qualified, Engineering degree or similar
