Job Title: SAP Finance Systems Manager

Location: Basingstoke with flexible working arrangement

Contract: Full Time/Permanent

As SAP Finance Systems Manager, you will have the responsibility for the integrity and accuracy of all SAP Financial modules including AP, AR, GL BW, BPC and peripheral/ associated systems and databases.

You will manage a team of SAP Support Specialists to deliver business support, system analysis, reconciliations, testing, training and implementation of new developments.

As well as this, you will manage and develop finance processes and systems (usage, support, control and development), ensuring strategy and service supports business, legislative and operational requirements and developments.

What will I be doing?

Lead a team of SAP Support Specialists to provide:

1. SAP Module Support

* Month and Year-end system scheduling, processing and reporting.

* Reconciliation of data ensuring full system integrity

* Monitoring of Upgrades - review new features, enhancements, testing and implementation.

* Project leadership and committee participation for Finance.

* Maintenance of master file data

2. Support core accounting and processing in the following areas:

* Accounting data analysis and reconciliation.

* Transaction feeds to and from other internal and external systems, including AAHelp, SAP FSCD, BCAS, Ariba, JPM, AAdvance, GlobalPay, etc (c45 in total).

* Provide back-up support for critical processes

* Manage SAP activites to support demergers and migration of companies joining the AA Group through joint venture or acquisition.

* Provide on-going user support and training for SAP Finance modules - resolving non routine and complex issues.

3. Projects:

* Build strong relationships with key AA personnel. Identify and respond to external and internal business initiatives and changes that impact on any area of SAP Finance

* Maximise financial automation within all developments and ensure robust embedded financial controls

* Develop functional requirement specifications documents.

* Coordination with IT to deliver new functionality.

* Manage system testing and Business/Finance implementation of new developments.

* Develop end user manuals when appropriate

* Initiate, review, and implement improvements and best practices for financial processes.

5. Data verification and audit reporting:

* Regular verification of control reports

* Addressing audit requests and queries
