Deputy Registered Manager

Deputy manager required to join established team of award winning team.

Role would suit experienced non-clinical manager with relevant care home experience or nurse looking to assume a managerial position.

Service user need ranges from residential to highly complex nursing (including brain injuries, learning disabilities, and complex 1:1).

The home specialises in Dementia (c. 75% of residents have a diagnosis), end of life (gold standard framework accredited) and dignity and respect (inaugral national winner of the (url removed) dignity and respect home of the year and Derbyshire Silver Dignity recipient)

Registered for 66 residents and also cater for a small number of day care visits per week.

Successful candidate would be responsible for supporting the registered manager and administration manager in managing all aspects of operations. E.G. Staffing (recruitment, training, scheduling and appraisals), Service User Welfare (care planning, risk assessments, customer care etc.) Also involvement in compliance and quality tracking. Support and training available in establishing self in role.

Experience of similar role preferrable and care management essential. NVQ 3 in Health and Social Care desirable. Level 5 diploma in care manager preferred or can be undertaken in post.

Working hour flexibility required. Includes evenings and potentially some weekends on a rota basis. Ordinarily staff work 8am-8pm on a 3 on 3 off basis.

Remuneration depending on experience (circa £20.00-22.00 per hour) and will include company car and discretionary bonus after qualifying period.
