Our client a household name software company require a Product Marketing Manager

Key Responsibilities;

Market Insights
  • Capturing market research to help inform the messaging framework and endorse business decisions
  • Championing the customers' voice within the business
  • Undertaking white space analysis to understand the market opportunity, identifying patterns in usage and adoption
  • Market segmentation - identifying key customer targets and providing recommendations on how best to capture business
  • Competitor analysis to understand the competitive landscape, where the company is positioned within this, ensuring this is shared with the key stakeholders

Go To Market (GTM)
  • Working with key stakeholders to deliver customer-focused propositions, (at launch and throughout the proposition lifecycle).
  • Value propositions - enabling target audiences with a clear understanding of the value propositions
  • Messaging frameworks - Determining and establishing the tone of voice, setting the foundation for content alignment
  • Proposition roadmaps - Devising and implementing plans for rollout of the portfolio
  • Communications planning - Developing and executing segment-focused communications plans to support the GTM strategy

Sales Enablement
  • Delivering product demonstrations
  • Establishing a range of training content suitable for customer-facing functions
  • Competitive battlecards / content

Commercial Awareness
  • Understand pricing and the approach to the market, ensuring the propositions are appropriately positioned to drive value
  • Align product / service packaging with market demand / opportunity

A Marketing degree or similar qualification, in a related field, would be advantageous
  • A background in Financial Services or Accounting would be very beneficial

5+ years of solid, demonstrable experience in Product Marketing or Product Management (ideally in a growth business)
  • Strong technical background with the ability to quickly develop product knowledge and communicate the value proposition to Sales, Customers and industry influencers
  • Proven experience in the creation and development of product marketing strategy, roadmaps, messaging and value propositions
  • Capturing market insights, conducting market research and the ability to determine recommendations endorsed by market data
  • Proven experience in customer segmentation, profiling and targeting
  • Experience in conducting competitive analysis
  • Experience working in the financial services or accounting sector would be highly desirable
  • Experience and knowledge of the SaaS / software business
  • Experience influencing others and delivering results cross-functionally
  • Personality to work with a fast-paced and dynamic business strategy
